Carter Funeral Home respectfully announces the transition of Mr. Jaivontavious Sellers, 18, of Union Springs,Alabama.
Born, September 3,1998, Jaivontavious transitioned into eternity July 8,2017 in Tuskegee,Alabama.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday,July 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm from the Gymnasium of the Bullock Career Technical Center, Union Springs, Alabama.
The eulogy will be delivered by the Apostle Morris Thornton,Sr of the House of Light Church International.
Interment with a memorial dove release will be held in Mason Cemetery.
Mr.Sellers will lie in repose one hour prior to Celebration of Life Services.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday,July 14,2017 from 2::00 pm until 7:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
A TIME TO BE BORN On September 3, 1998 in Montgomery, Alabama, our Heavenly Father blessed Natashia Sellers and Cedric Owens with a handsome baby boy, Jaivontavious Cortez Sellers, affectionately known as “Hustle”.
A TIME TO LIVE Jaivontavious accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 10 uniting with “The House of Light Church International. He was a rising Senior at Bullock County High School, class of 2018. He started his first job April 11, 2017, and worked until his death. Jaivontavious was a young man devoted to spending time with his loved ones. His loyalty to others was indescribable. His daily motto was “I’m going to work and get it so I can provide for my family.” He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bennie Washington, and late god-brother, Mr. Ka’shaad Hurts.
A TIME OF PEACE Jaivontavious Sellers answered his final calling from our Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the city of Tuskegee, Alabama.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving mother and father, Natashia (Steven) Sellers and Cedric (Joy) Owens; all of Union Springs, AL. along with a godmother: Krystall Hurt of Union Springs, AL; grandparents: Jacqueline (Frederick) James and Mary (Ralph) Owens; sisters: NyKevia Sellers, Stevondria Russaw, Skylar Owens, all of Union Springs, AL.; brothers: Frederrius Adams of Union Springs, AL., Melvin Owens and O’Marion Owens of Montgomery, AL.; aunts: Shontay (late Bryant) Harris, Zee James, Tracy (Anthony) Allen, Chedelle James, Montgomery, AL and Tia (Ariel) Pinero of Columbus, GA.; uncles: Frederick James, Darren Simmons; a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and special young lady, Quenkuria Jackson; special friends: Romello Stanley, Jackeem Fields and Charles Hamm.
